Is it time to surgically implant chips in our brains to maintain our supremacy over AI?

I played around with OpenAI's ChatGPT-4 that was released yesterday.

As you know, OpenAI has released its latest AI language model, GPT-4, which is being hailed as a game-changer in the field of natural language processing.

Some of its advanced features include:

1. Enhanced accuracy and precision in understanding natural language, and better ability handle "disallowed" content.

2. It is multi-modal i.e. it can now work with text as well as images.

3. Ability to understand context and generate more nuanced responses which makes it more reliable and I guess more "truthful".

4. It has a new 'system' mode to enable developers to train its capabilities to set the style, task, and tone for interactions.

5. Overall quality is better, "summarizing" is working well.

As I used it, I did see many improvements especially with long form instructions, and also working images. But I'll have to work with it longer to really unlock all the things it has to offer.
